Möbius Truck Rack
“Minimal Derp”
As a student at university, I was honored to be assigned as the designer and documentation manager for my groups senior project. Our customer was looking primarily for a truck rack that solved 4 of his biggest pain points in modern truck racks.
We needed to design something that had “minimal derp” in terms of the look.
The front bar needed to extend to make hauling various material lengths easier.
The rear bar needed to swing out of the way to allow storage of taller items in the bed of the truck.
Our design needed to accommodate the customer’s existing tonneau cover
